Molière and Le Misanthrope in Context

This dramaturgy was prepared as part of the staging process for a classroom production of Act 3, Scene 4 of the Le Misanthrope, part of the course work assigned in Styles of Acting and Directing taught by Dr. Nancy Smithner for the NYU Department of Educational Theatre.


Envisioning in Asaba

This was a paper written for a course in Participatory Action Research, or PAR, generally research, surveying or indexing undertaken in collaboration with a community. It is a process best implemented through repeated cycles of inquiry, reflection and then action.


Developing Images

This review of two photography shows held at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in 2006 compares and contrasts the  experience of a visit to Robert Creamer’s Transitions against that of the Visual Griots show developed by Michael Mason in conjunction with the Academy for Education Development.
